February '07 Inspirations

 

This is Tiffany's adaptation
of a dress she saw on the
Farmhouse Fabrics website.

Tiffany has used the
Children's Corner "Louise"
pattern to make a beautiful
waisted dress for her
daughter, Maggie Ruth.

The bodice is done in an
Imperial broadcloth from
Spechler-Vogel, and the
skirt is their Spanish Dimity.

 
   

 

 

The waistline is accented with a band of embroidered
Swiss trim from Capitol Imports which has been bordered
with a Swiss beading from Tiffany's stash.  Double-faced
satin ribbon runs through the beading and is tied in a bow
at the center front.

 

 
The hemline features
two growth tucks and
is edged with a band
of the bodice fabric.

This is a great dress
for an older girl.
