The
basic dress is
Martha Pullen's
A-line done in an
unbelievably soft
cotton denim from
Robert Kaufman.
It
is lined in
Nashville Cotton's
"ivy" pima check.
The pumpkin face is
constructed separately, lined with
a puffy interlining, and buttoned to the jumper!
It could be switched in November for a turkey face or a Pilgrim,
then in December for a Santa or a reindeer.
The triangular buttons are from Carol's stash.
The
puffy leaf buttons onto
the shoulder and is
attached to the pumpkin
by a grosgrain "vine."
Carol
has attached the lining at
the neck and shoulders, but
she has let it hang free at the
hem and added a ruffle
at the hemline.
