July '07 Inspirations

 

This is Carol's version of
the Creative Needle (April '06)
adaptation of the Children's
Corner "Louise" pattern.

The fabric is a beautiful
blue cotton pique from
Fabric Finders.  The poppies
are in shades of coral
and hot pink.

 
   

 

 


The front neckline of the dress is cut deeper for an
older girl look and is accented with a self ruffle.
Piping in coral pique accents the neckline.

 

 

The back neckline is cut to a "V" according to
the adaptation directions.  This really gives the
pattern an updated look!
