Jan has used the adaptation
instructions in Lezette
Thomason's book,
Ideas from Children's
Corner, to create this
perky little dress based
on the Children's Corner
"Lucy" pattern.

The fabric is a
combination of three
cotton prints from Moda's
"Spring Meadow" collection.
 
 

 

  

 
 
The "Clouds" fabric has been used for the yoke,
the inside of the contrasting pleat, and the covered buttons.
The "Stripes" fabric from the same collection
adds interest with the bow and the bias piping.

This is a great way to make use of a basic pattern
