Shop Policies

 

Privacy Statement:   We do not share our customer information
     with anyone for any reason.

 

Fabric Swatches:   We ask that you limit swatch requests to 10
     items.  We will send these as quickly as possible - we know
     that you're anxious to choose your fabric so that you can
     begin your project!

 

Return Policy:   We do not accept returns on merchandise unless
     either the item is defective or we have made a shipping error.
     If you're not sure a particular fabric or trim will match
     something you already have, please request a swatch before
     ordering.  Patterns and books may not be returned.  Please
     contact us within 10 days in case of defective merchandise
     or shipping error; returns will not be accepted after this time.

 

Backorders:   We try to make notation on the website if an item
     is out of stock.  For those times when we are temporarily out
     of an item, we will ship the items which are in stock right away
     and send the backorder as soon as we receive that item.  We
     do not charge you for shipping on any backorders.  If time is
     critical, please call or e-mail the shop to be certain we have
     the item you need.

 

Shipping:   We ship all orders by USPS Priority Mail, unless
     First Class mail is less expensive and shipping time is expected
     to be the same.  The Post Office states that Priority Mail is
     expected to be delivered within 2 - 3 days, though this is
     not guaranteed.  We have had consistently good results with
     this form of shipping.  We charge you what the post office
     charges us; there is no handling fee.

     Orders received by 3:00 p.m. Eastern time will be shipped
     the same day.  During special sales events, orders may be
     delayed by one day.  If you need expedited shipping, please
     contact the shop.

 

Ordering Information:   We are delighted to now be able to
     accept online orders.  Our web site uses a protected page
     provided by Verisign, a well-known and trusted name in secure
     server technology.  All credit card information is encrypted
     for your protection and is not stored on our computer.

 

Payment Options:   We accept payment by credit card - Visa,
     Mastercard and Discover - and by personal check or money
     order.  The amount shown on the shopping cart and confirma-
     tion e-mail includes only product cost and tax (for Georgia
     addresses).  Shipping charges will be added once your order
     is assembled and prepared for shipping.  We charge you
     what the Post Office charges us, with no added fees.  You
     may send us your credit card number on the page provided
     by our Verisign secured page, or you may call us with your
     number during regular shop hours, Monday through Saturday
     from 10:00 until 5:30 Eastern time.  The toll-free number is
     1-800-219-3134.  Please do not e-mail credit card numbers!

     For orders to be paid by check or money order, please wait
     until you receive an e-mail with the final total, including
     appropriate shipping charges.  We accept checks only on
     United States banks.  Orders will be shipped when we have
     received your check.  There is a $15 fee on any returned
     check.
